AAA BEEF CHEEKS (TRIMMED)
Beef cheeks are springing up on trendy restaurant menus everywhere — they’re a chef’s favourite, and home cooks are starting to see the potential of beef cheek meat too! When cooked, beef cheeks have a similar texture to short ribs or pulled pork, perfect for adding to soups, stews, ragu and more.
Our Preferred Preparation for Beef Cheeks
You need to cook beef cheeks low and slow with plenty of liquid, whether that’s in the form of a braise, stew or a set-it-and-forget-it slow cooker. Since beef cheeks are cut from the facial cheek of the animal — a highly used muscle — the meat needs a long cook time to tenderize and become truly melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
